🚀 [Update] Ghost eShop NX Public is Back!

Hello to Our Community!

After a long pause, we’re thrilled to announce that Ghost eShop NX Public is now back online!

We know many of you have been waiting, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and support you’ve shown. Here’s everything you need to know:

🧊 What Happened During the Downtime?

We faced several challenges—technical, motivational, and personal. Burnout is real, especially for a project driven by volunteers and passion. On top of that, we had to deal with abusive behavior, including insults, threats, and even doxxing attempts directed not just at admins, but at moderators and contributors.

We want to be very clear: this is unacceptable. The team has always acted respectfully, and we expect the same in return.

đź’¬ Why Donations Matter

We often hear:

“Why pay for piracy?”

The truth is: you’re not paying for piracy – you’re supporting infrastructure.

Bandwidth, servers, electricity, hardware… it all costs money. Donations keep the project alive and sustainable. They’re not about buying content, but about supporting a service.

đź“Š Upcoming Data Limits (Testing Phase)

To prevent abuse and manage infrastructure costs, we’ll soon begin testing monthly download limits per console:

  • 4 unique games per month
  • 8 updates for different games
  • 4 DLCs for different games

Example: Smash Bros. has 99 DLCs, but they only count as 1 since they belong to the same game.

Note: These limits are not yet active and will be refined based on real usage and feedback.
