Ghost eShop: Pro Web v2.5.4 - Email & Communication Language System
New system: your language preference is saved and used for all emails and support communications. Faster ticket support with optional AI translation, smoother home page loading, Ctrl+click to open games in new tab, and full translations for the tickets interface.
Hello everyone 👋
Ghost eShop: Pro Web v2.5.4 is live. This one’s mostly about making sure we speak your language, literally. We’ve been working on how emails and support tickets handle languages, and we think you’ll notice the difference.
🎫 Tickets: a faster way to handle support
Ticket volume can get heavy. So we’ve added a Fast Mode for admins: they can sort by priority, oldest first, or newest first, and filter to find what they need quickly.
If admins run a local LLM, they can optionally use it to translate incoming tickets into their language and their replies back into the user’s. They write in their language, you get the answer in yours. No more copy-pasting into Google Translate on their side.
We’ve also added daily stats and charts so admins can track how ticket volume evolves over time.
Home: less blank, more smooth
The home page used to show nothing while content was loading. Now you get skeleton placeholders, and it feels smoother and less jarring. Same for news and recent games.
🌍 Your language, everywhere
We now remember your language preference and use it for everything: emails, ticket replies, subscription reminders. No more welcome emails in the wrong language.
We’ve also started tracking your last login (you’ll see it in your account). Your account appearance and session info have been updated to reflect all of this.
Emails in 10 languages
All our email templates (welcome, password reset, subscription stuff, content request responses, ticket replies) are now available in 10 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and both Chinese variants.
The cron jobs that send subscription reminders and similar stuff use these localized templates too. So for example, if you’re subscribed in Russian, you’ll get your reminders in Russian.
🎮 Ctrl+click to open games in a new tab
Small but handy: Ctrl+click (or Cmd+click on Mac) on a game card opens the game page in a new tab. Works in grid, list, and table view. Normal click still opens the modal as before.
Tickets interface: fully translated
The tickets page and all its dialogs are now translated in all supported languages. If you’ve been waiting for that, it’s done.
