🚀 [Major Update] NXEnc, Ghost eShop PRO & Ongoing Fixes!
First of all, we want to apologize for the recent issues our users have encountered.
We still hope that you continue to enjoy the Ghost eShop project.
We have been actively working to resolve the major problems, and while some still persist,
we are continuing our efforts to fix them as soon as possible.
📢 Recap of February 28, 29, and March 1 Events
At the end of February, Ghost eShop Public traffic increased by nearly 20%, putting
significant pressure on our infrastructure. Unfortunately, one of our datacenter routers failed,
causing disruptions.
To counter this issue, we decided to deploy the complete rewrite of the NXEnc project ahead of schedule,
originally planned for the end of March.

🔥 What’s New with This Rewrite?
The old version of NXEnc was based on two PHP files, an HTML file, and an .htaccess file.
It has now been completely rewritten in JavaScript for better performance and flexibility.
💡 User Improvements:
✅ Faster connection to the eShop
✅ Welcome message automatically displayed in your Tinfoil’s selected language
✅ A message added guiding users to “New Games” and the “XCI” tab when using the file browser
✅ Complete UI overhaul on both desktop and mobile
🚧 Download Issues from Tinfoil
Due to the failed router, when downloading games (which are split into chunks ranging
from 100MiB to 400MiB), some requests might end up on overloaded or non-production servers.
We are actively working to resolve this, and a fix will be deployed very soon.
Ghost eShop PRO – A New Version is Coming Soon!
For nearly two months, we have been working on a complete rewrite of Ghost eShop PRO.
This will be deployed in March 2025 and will bring numerous improvements:

- 🌑 Dark and Light Mode
- 🎫 Built-in ticket system for customer support directly from your account
- 📄 Individual game pages displaying detailed information
- 📅 Sort games by release date (a highly requested feature)
- … and many more additions!
🔹 Name Change: NX Ghost eShop PRO is now Ghost eShop PRO, preparing for the addition of new consoles in the future.
📥 PRO Download System Improvements
We have received your feedback regarding download issues on the PRO platform.
A complete rewrite of the download system is underway and will be deployed between March 7 and 9.
Additionally, the PRO shop will receive the NXEnc update within one to two weeks, adding:
✅ Welcome messages in multiple languages
✅ New features to enhance user experience
